People begun to change their views on prohibition
Some of the same people that supported prohibition in the first place now began to change their minds.

After the St. Valentines Day Massacre, a former supporter of prohibition, Pauline Sabine, said she was “convinced that its failure”.
In May 1929 she formed the Chicago Women’s Organisation for Prohibition Reform. With weeks she had over 100000 members which shows that people were changing the attitudes and turning against prohibition.
This added pressure for the repeal of prohibition.
So was this an important factor in the repeal on prohibition?
